MALFUNCTION OF ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE SENSOR [LO]
(DTC CODE P2228 / DIAGNOSIS MONITOR CODE 15)

1. Use the HINO-DX to delete past malfunctions. Check if the same code (DTC code P2228, P2229 / diagnosis monitor code 15) is output again.
   

   

   Standard: Normal

NO Fault in engine ECU	YES No problem if the condition returns to the proper state. Electromagnetic interface may have caused short-lived malfunction.

1. Confirm the DTC P2228 is inactive

   • Start the engine and let it idling condition.
   • Verify the DTC P2228 is inactive.

   

2. DTC Clear

   • Clear the DTC with Hino DX
   • Confirm the same DTC is not reoccurred
