DROP IN POWER VOLTAGE (DTC CODE B2000 / DIAGNOSIS MONITOR CODE 12)

1. Turn the starter key to the "LOCK" position, wait for more than 90 seconds, and disconnect the connection of the yellow connector of the air bag ECU.
   
2. Turn the starter key to the "ON" position. Measure voltage between the terminals of the ECU connector of the cab main harness as shown in the figure.
   

   Standard value: 20-28 V

3. Set the starter key to the "LOCK" position. After a lapse of 90 seconds or longer, measure continuity between the terminals of the connector and the body GND as shown in the figure.
   
   

   Standard:
   A, B: Conducting
   C, D: Not conducting
   

NO Cab main harness or power supply and/or GND line abnormality

YES Air bag ECU abnormality

1. Confirm the DTC B2000 is inactive

   • Start the engine and let it idling condition.
   • Verify the DTC B2000 is inactive.

   

2. DTC Clear

   • Clear the DTC with Hino DX
   • Confirm the same DTC is not reoccurred

   

B2000 is reoccur: Return to first process Other DTC appear: Refer to concerned Trouble shooting
