ECU terminals subject to inspect	The 7th and 13th terminals of 18 pin connector

1. Measuring continuity between terminals

Detail

Set the starter key to the "LOCK" position and disconnect the ABS ECU 18 pin connector and 15 pin connector.

Measure continuity between the 13th terminal of the 18 pin connector (vehicle harness side) and the 13th terminal of the 15 pin connector (vehicle harness side).

Standard: No continuity

GND short-circuit in harness between ABS ECU and wheel sensor (right, rearward)
Inspect the harness. YES

Normal now. Short-lived GND short-circuit is likely to have occurred.
Inspect the harness.

DTC Clear

Detail

Confirm the DTC P0404 is inactive

Start the engine and let it idling condition.
Verify the DTC P0404 is inactive.

DTC Clear

Clear the DTC with Hino DX
Confirm the same DTC is not reoccurred

P0404 is reoccur: Return to first process
Other DTC appear: Refer to concerned Trouble shooting
