IMPROPER DPR TEMPERATURE
(DTC CODE P200C / DIAGNOSIS MONITOR CODE 91)

1. Remove the DPR and inspect the rear end face.
   

   Standard: No soot leakage is allowed.

NO Replace DPR.	YES Proceed to [2] Inspecting the DPR

1. With the DPR removed, check that a large volume of black smoke is not produced.
   

NO Inspect the engine body system.	YES Proceed to [3] Inspecting the exhaust temperature sensor (located after DPF)

1. Disconnect the exhaust temperature sensor (located after DPF) connector.
2. Measure resistance between the 1st and 2nd terminals of the exhaust temperature sensor (located after DPF) connector (component side).
   

   

   Standard value (select one to take measurement)

   Temperature in measurement (ºC {ºF})	Resistance
   50 {122}	9.7 kΩ
   100 {212}	3.8 kΩ
   150 {302}	1.8 kΩ

NO Fault in exhaust temperature sensor (located after DPF)	YES Proceed to [4] Basic engine inspection

1. Air-wash the DPR and perform a basic engine inspection (injection rate inspection).
   

   Standard: The standard injection rate must be met.

NO Inspect the exhaust brake, adjust an injection rate and inspect injectors.	YES Proceed to [5] DPR forced regeneration

1. Perform a DPR forced regeneration.
   

   Standard: Regeneration must be completed.

NO Replace DPR.	YES End of troubleshooting

1. Confirm the DTC P200C is inactive

   • Start the engine and let it idling condition.
   • Verify the DTC P200C is inactive.

   

2. DTC Clear

   • Clear the DTC with Hino DX
   • Confirm the same DTC is not reoccurred

   

P200C is reoccur: Return to first process Other DTC appear: Refer to concerned Trouble shooting
