ABNORMALITY IN INJECTOR MULTIPOINT COMPENSATION [UNWRITTEN] (DTC CODE P1601 / DIAGNOSIS MONITOR CODE 2)

1. Check whether there is a history of injector replacements.
   

   Standard No history of replacements: Proceed to steps under "OK."History of replacements identified or unknown: Proceed to steps under "NG."

NO Replace the engine ECU.	YES Proceed to [2] Inspecting QR codes

1. Check QR code data stored in the service server.
2. Use HINO-DX to read out QR code data of injectors. If the read data are inconsistent with QR codes stored in the server, rewrite codes.
3. After deletion of past malfunctions, check diagnosis codes again to see that the DTC code P1601 / diagnosis monitor code 2 is no longer output.

Standard: No output is allowed.

NO Replace the engine ECU.	YES Normal

1. Confirm the DTC P1601 is inactive

   • Start the engine and let it idling condition.
   • Verify the DTC P1601 is inactive.

   

2. DTC Clear

   • Clear the DTC with Hino DX
   • Confirm the same DTC is not reoccurred

   

P1601 is reoccur: Return to first process Other DTC appear: Refer to concerned Trouble shooting
