AIR FLOW SENSOR POWER SUPPLY [+B SHORT-CIRCUIT]
(DTC CODE P06D4 / DIAGNOSIS MONITOR CODE 5)

1. Set the starter key to the "LOCK" position and connect the signal check harness.
2. Turn the starter key "ON" and measure voltage between the terminals E12 and E78.
   

   

   ECU terminal No.	Description of terminal
   E12	Air flow power supply
   E78	Sensor GND

   Standard value: 9.0-11.0 V

    

NO Go to [2] Inspecting the battery.	YES Fault in engine ECU

1. Inspect the battery.
   

   Standard value: No abnormality

    

NO Inspecting the alternator	YES Fault in engine ECU

1. Confirm the DTC P06D4 is inactive

   • Start the engine and let it idling condition.
   • Verify the DTC P06D4 is inactive.

   

2. DTC Clear

   • Clear the DTC with Hino DX
   • Confirm the same DTC is not reoccurred

   

P06D4 is reoccur: Return to first process Other DTC appear: Refer to concerned Trouble shooting
